Basra

Basra is the fishing game of the Levant and Egypt: play a card, and take every card on the table it matches or adds up to.

The 9 takes the 5 and the 4: they add up to 9. The Queen stays.

• 2 players, one deck of 52 cards, no Jokers.
• A card takes the same rank, or number cards that add up to it. A Jack takes the whole table.
• Clear the table and it's a basra: 10 points.
• Tap a card and the game shows you what it takes: no sums to work out.
